Isuzu D-Max Ambulance Launched
The Isuzu D-Max has been designed to provide unparalleled reliability, safety and comfort in patient transportation to empower a faster response during medical emergencies. There are loads of dedicated amenities to make it an impressive ambulance. These include things like mandatory warning lights, flashers, sirens, side lights and PA systems along with the high visibility stickers on the vehicle body, durable and hygienic interiors, and rust-free with PUF insulated GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) body panels. Apart from that, the rear body is spacious with fixed glass windows on the doors and sliding ones on the sides.
To enhance the ingress and egress, the wide rear doors can open fully, and the built-in ramp enables ease of movement for the stretcher-cum-trolley. Other highlights include a well-lit cabin via LED lights, comfortable seating, plenty of storage spaces, a privacy curtain from the driver’s compartment, external storage provision for oxygen cylinders, hoses, oxygen manifold source and delivery system, oxygen humidifier and more. The Isuzu D-Max Ambulance comes with a familiar RZ4E 1.9-litre 4-cylinder VGS turbo intercooled engine which generates a healthy 120 kW (161 hp) and 360 Nm of peak power and torque. Based on the robust iGRIP platform, this ambulance is ideal for both urban and rural roads. The shorter wheelbase, high ground clearance, bigger tyres and small turning radius make it perfect for manoeuvrability. Apart from that, it comes with tons of active and passive safety features. These incorporate ABS, EBD, ESC, Hill Descent Control, 2 Airbags, collapsible steering column and side intrusion protection beam for the front cabin. At this moment, the introductory price of the Isuzu D-Max Ambulance is Rs 26 lakh, ex-showroom.
