The new model, which will launch on September 12, will take on a slew of SUVs, including the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector Plus. The upcoming vehicle should bring to the table a handful of cosmetic updates, and additional equipment but pretty much the same specifications. Read on as I summarize all there’s to know about the Creta-based SUV.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift – Exterior and Interior Changes

Recent spy media of the new Alcazar reveals changes to soft parts that are in sync with those found on the latest Creta. So, basically, there will be a new front grille close to that of the donor model along with new LED DRLs just below the hood line. Even the headlights will be new and could feature a multi-tier design. The bumpers could look a bit different, too. As is the case with such facelifts, the side profile shall remain the same, with the only discrepancy arising from the new machine-cut rims. The heavy camouflage at the rear of the test mules could be a hint of a comprehensive update for the boot lid and taillights. Moreover, the carmaker could come up with additional paint options.

Inside, the new Alcazar could look a lot like the latest Creta. Taking the centre stage on the dashboard will be a dual 10.25-inch twin-screen arrangement for the infotainment and instrumentation. The 6- and 7-seater layout should continue, with a twin captain chair arrangement for the former. Additionally, the equipment list will include:

  • Level 2 ADAS
  • Ventilated Front Seats
  • Dual-zone Climate Control
  • 360-degree camera
  • electrically-adjustable driver’s seat
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Forward Collision Avoidance
  • Blind-spot Monitoring System
