India’s First Mahindra Thar Roxx with Yellow Exterior & Interior

This has to be India’s most heavily modified Mahindra Thar Roxx we have seen since the deliveries commenced on October 12, 2024

This Mahindra Thar Roxx has been extensively modified in yellow theme on the outside, as well as inside. I admit that the Thar has to be among the most common vehicles for aftermarket customizations. While that was true for the 3-door version, the 5-door Thar Roxx owners are also evidently taking the same route. Note that the Roxx is the more practical and larger iteration of the regular Thar. It has bagged over 1.76 lakh orders within the first hour after the bookings opened. Hence, the popularity and the public reception are overwhelming, to say the least.

Yellow Mahindra Thar Roxx

This video stems from Raftaar 7811 on YouTube. The visuals capture a certain Swaranjit Bajaj taking the delivery of a rather unique Thar Roxx. What is particularly intriguing in this case is the fact that the man has been able to take the delivery of this uniquely modified Thar Roxx directly from the dealership. Swaranjit is an Instagrammer who is also a bike enthusiast. He often posts content about his personal life. We have seen him own many luxury vehicles, all wearing yellow paint. He is evidently fond of the yellow colour. That is the reason why he opted for a yellow Mahindra Thar Roxx too.

The visuals share images of the man taking the delivery of the unique Thar Roxx with yellow paint on the outside, as well as a yellow interior theme. In addition to the colour, the front section even contains a black strap around the bonnet which complements the yellow colour well. In fact, a glimpse on the inside showcases the yellow upholstery with SB engraved on the headrests of the seats. He has clearly given it a deeply personal touch. His other yellow vehicles include the likes of the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and an Audi SUV.

Specs

Mahindra has not just stretched the length of the regular Thar to create the Thar Roxx. In fact, the Roxx gets a new M_GLYDE platform, aesthetic changes, new features and tweaked powertrain options. Hence, it is, essentially, a new car. Under its butch and upright bonnet sits a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol mill OR a 2.2-litre mHawk turbo diesel engine. The power and torque outputs stand at 162 PS (MT) / 330 Nm to 177 PS (AT) / 380 Nm for the petrol and 163 PS (MT) / 330 Nm and 175 PS / 370 Nm for the diesel versions. Performing the transmission duties is a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. However, the main attraction is the sophisticated and hardcore 4×4 hardware which can propel the SUV across any terrain. The prices range from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
