Aftermarket car modification houses have become extremely popular in the last few years
A made-in-India garage has built an impressive vehicle which offers a unique sportscar appeal. India has become home to incredibly detailed customizations in the last few years. While most of these are modifications to stock cars, conversion to another car and the like, this latest one is quite different. One particular car house has created an entire vehicle from scratch with sportscar configurations, specifications and aesthetics. Let us take a look at the details here.
Made-in-India Garage Makes Sportscar
The details of this case stem from s.s.s._design_hub on Instagram. They are calling this the Celibra Sports. In fact, this is an announcement for this car which is slated to go on sale in 2025-26. On the outside, the front fascia contains a prominent project LED headlamp cluster with integrated LED DRLs and turn indicators. In the centre, it has a grille section with the logo of the company. The floating bonnet culminates into angular fog lamp housings with a splitter in the middle. Additionally, it has a glass roof with a Lamborghini-like rear section.
The tail end also contains a glass structure. On the sides, we see a two-door layout which is a clear callback to the sportscars. Furthermore, there are colossal alloy wheels with black paint and body graphics on the front fenders. Finally, at the rear, we see a large spoiler mounted on the boot lid. It spells the name of the car – Celibra Sports. Finally, the red and black exterior colour theme is a perfect representation of a sportscar. Note that this is the prototype model and we will see the production-spec version in the coming months.
Specs
What I found particularly interesting is what lies under the hood. The information on their Instagram handle reads a 5.2-litre V8 petrol engine which is capable of generating 295 hp of peak power. It is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission which enables a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.8 seconds. It rides on 18-inch alloys and has a fuel tank capacity of 83 litres. Moreover, the enables a smooth ride quality, it gets air suspension and a hard top convertible mechanism. Finally, it gets frameless scissor doors and ADAS for active safety prowess. I shall keep an eye out for more details in times to come.
