Mahindra has done a great job in differentiating between the 3-door and 5-door versions of the Thar not just in terms of aesthetics but also other aspects. The features list is longer, the inside space is more cavernous, the mechanicals are different, the platform is new and the powertrains are recalibrated too. Therefore, this is, essentially, a completely different SUV from the 3-door version. With real-life performances like this, it gives the viewers a glimpse of what it has to offer off-tarmac. Let us see how well the customers embrace it in times to come.
