Next gen Hyundai Venue Spotted

Hyundai Venue has always been a successful product despite belonging to a highly competitive market space

The next-gen Hyundai Venue has been spied in its native market. Venue received its mid-life update back in 2024. The compact SUV segment in our country is immensely fierce. Almost every major car marque offers one model in this category. Therefore, in order to stand out from the crowd, every car company needs to put its best foot forward. The Korean auto giant has been able to capture the customers due to offering the latest tech, convenience, safety and comfort amenities along with the options of multiple powertrains. The production will likely commence in the latter half of 2025 at Hyundai’s new Talegaon plant in Maharashtra. Let us see what the new Venue will offer.

The specifics of the heavily camouflaged SUV stem from Healer TV. Despite the thick covering, we are able to deduce a few aspects. For instance, it will bear the same upright stance as the existing model. Also, the compact SUV gets a split-LED headlamp cluster along with LED DRLs on the edge of the bonnet. The grille section displays a resemblance with the new Creta and Alcazar SUVs. On the sides, we will see new alloy wheels but the overall silhouette will be the same. Finally, the tail section contains a tall-boy boot lid and sharp LED taillamps. All in all, there seem to be enough modern elements to tell it apart from the current-gen model.

The interior section is partly visible. However, these details are unclear. Still, we can expect it to carry the latest tech and connectivity functions to pamper the customers. Also, active safety will be key with ADAS functionalities. Under its hood, we will most likely see the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo diesel and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine along with manual and automatic transmission options. This ensures that all sorts of buyers can go for the Hyundai Venue as per their needs.

My View

There is no denying the fact that the compact SUV space is challenging for the carmakers. However, it is great for the customers as they get a wide range of options to choose from. The prominent rivals to the Venue include the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV3XO. Clearly, the Korean auto giant has its work cut out. Having said that, it is the largest automaker in the country and understands the mindset of its customers well. Hence, we can expect a well-kitted product with striking looks and the option of multiple powertrains. I shall bring more details as they emerge.
